For the first time of the 54 years of the Hillcrest Art Festival, I've entered three paintings. The preparations for the entries to this show came on the heels of breaking my right/primary wrist which slowed down my painting quite a bit but luckily I had a few completed paintings so I didn't panic. I've entered two hand painted prints and one glicee archival print of a painting I did for Mariko. It's always good to see work framed and hung outside of my work space. Now I am working on several drawings for new work. Keeping the momentum and the discipline of drawing each day is key now that the weather is warm and the outdoor projects tempt me.
